SRS National Day Dinner Celebrations on 23rd Aug 2024 @ Fourpoints By Sheraton Hotel, Imperial Restaurant
About 200 members had a memorable & fun time at Imperial Restaurant to celebrate our Beloved Nation's 59th Birthday. The restaurant was filled to maximum capacity.
Our President Nalla gave a short speech & highlighted that we'll be having upskilling programmes so that Remisiers can provide additional value-added services to our clients.
Besides the 70% funding provided by The Institute of Banking & Finance for most members, SRS will be bearing 10% of it & SAS and SGX will be bearing the remainder for the earlier batch of courses until the funds run out. Being an SRS Member has it's privileges & for many of our members it will be free-of-charge. For the 3 courses, the course fee is $800 per course. SGX has generously sponsored $250,000 for these Remisier Development Programmes.
Beng Hooi, Chairman of AB Maximus, SRS Training Partner, gave a brief rundown of the 3 Upskilling Programmes. More details will be provided once The Institute of Banking & Finance accredits these programmes.
Members had a sumptuous dinner & more importantly had a great time strengthening bonds among fellow friends.
